The U.S. Mission to Greece is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Ambassadors Fund for Summer Work Travel (SWT) Scholarship. This prestigious program offers Greek students the chance to spend their summer in the United States, gaining invaluable experience in entry-level jobs while exploring American culture.

Applications Open October 1st and Close November 15th, 2024

For the 2025 summer season, up to 10 participants will be selected to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. This scholarship provides the unique opportunity for recipients to practice English, earn a fair wage, and immerse themselves in summer work activities in vibrant seasonal communities across the U.S.

What Does the Scholarship Cover?

The U.S. Mission to Greece SWT Scholarship is designed to be as comprehensive as possible. It covers all program fees, round-trip flights to the United States, visa interviews, SEVIS fees, and health insurance while on the program. Additionally, if applicants are required to travel to Athens for their visa interview, those flights will also be covered. To ensure peace of mind, participants are encouraged to have access to emergency funds just in case.

Greek students enrolled in university who are ready for a cultural exchange and a summer of new experiences are invited to apply. The program is open to those who wish to develop their English skills, expand their work experience, and build meaningful connections with people from around the world.
