The School of Medicine of the University of Crete announces the opening of applications for the postgraduate program “Forensic Medicine, Anthropology and Imaging” for the academic year 2026–2027.
This interdisciplinary MSc offers specialized training in the scientific methods used in forensic investigation, medico-legal analysis, and human identification. By combining expertise from forensic medicine, biological anthropology, and modern imaging technologies, the program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how scientific evidence contributes to legal and investigative processes.
The program is designed for graduates from a wide range of scientific and professional backgrounds. Eligible applicants include individuals holding officially recognized undergraduate degrees in fields such as Medicine, Biology, Anatomy, Anthropology, Archaeology, Dentistry, Police Academy studies, Law, and other related disciplines.
Through its interdisciplinary structure, students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insight into forensic methodologies, including the analysis of human remains, medico-legal documentation, and imaging techniques used in forensic examination.
