The Technical University of Crete is the first of three important European Universities to deliver the free, online course in the EURECA-PRO Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program. This initiative can offer participants an exciting, practical entry into the world of innovation and entrepreneurship through three targeted courses in 2025–2026 by enabling bold thinkers, creators, and future change agents to take their first big step into innovation.
And it all starts with lesson #1: I&E 101 – Sustainable Innovation & Ecopreneurship by the Technical University of Crete.

Watch a practical introduction to Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E)! In the course I&E 101: Sustainable Innovation & Ecopreneurship, inspiring speakers share their own startup stories about what sparked their ideas, what went right (and wrong), and what they learned along the way. You will connect with fellow students and entrepreneurs across EURECA-PRO and beyond, exchange ideas, and explore real I&E opportunities linked to major challenges such as Clean Energy, Industry 4.0, Sustainable Health, Circular Economy, and building a Sustainable & Fair Society. You will learn how to turn your own ideas into action, develop practical skills, and discover ways to collaborate with industry partners to create real-world impact.
Participants acquire a Certificate for each course completed — EURECA-PRO students can also earn free-choice ECTS credits or credits for the Doctoral Training School. Complete all three courses in the program to earn the Certificate of Specialization in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
