On October 3, 2025, the “All IITs International Relations Conclave 2025”, hosted by IIT Jodhpur, brought together representatives, faculty members, and students from 17 out of all 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for a first-of-its-kind discussion on strengthening international engagement across the IIT network. The conclave aimed to shape a collective roadmap for the internationalization of Indian higher education, focusing on enhancing student mobility, fostering global research collaborations, and developing impactful academic partnerships.

Study in Greece (SiG) was invited as one of the international presenters at this prestigious event, presenting the internationalization of Greek higher education and exploring potential avenues for collaboration with the IITs.

During the session on International Opportunities, Ms. Diana Zhong, Head of International Partnerships at Study in Greece, delivered a presentation introducing all 24 Greek public universities and their academic excellence, highlighting a wide range of English-taught undergraduate and postgraduate programs, particularly those well-suited for students from the IIT community. SiG also showcased its two digital platforms:

• atSiG – a one-stop application hub that streamlines the admission process for international students wishing to study in Greece; and

• MatSiG – a digital marketplace and academic community connecting Greek universities with international institutions, educational organizations, and industry stakeholders to foster partnerships and joint initiatives.

Through this presentation, Study in Greece encouraged Indian students to explore the high-quality international study opportunities offered by Greek universities and invited faculty members to seek collaboration opportunities with Greek academics and universities.

The conclave marked a valuable step toward strengthening academic ties between India and Greece, reinforcing SiG’s mission to promote international partnerships and build meaningful connections across global higher education communities.
