On April 27, 2023, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Development of the Athens University of Economics and Business, Professor Vassilis Papadakis, welcomed to the premises of the university, Professor Dimitris Giannoulopoulos, Head of the Department of Law at Goldsmiths, University of London and Dr. Theodoros Papaioannou, Director of Academic Affairs of Study in Greece. 

The participation of the Athens Univeristy of Economics and Business in the upcoming Goldsmiths summer school in Athens entitled “Human Rights Law, Policy and Practice: Britain, Greece and the EU”, which will take place from 25 June to 1 July, was discussed. In addition, possibilities for further developing partnerships between the AUEB and Goldsmiths were discussed, in areas such as the co-organization of short courses and the hosting of students from Goldsmiths at the AUEB for part of their studies.

The meeting took place in a very friendly framework, and the three sides agreed to continue to communicate with each other.
