The American media company U.S. News & World Report has announced the Best Global Universities Rankings for 2021 with 14 Greek universities among them. More specifically, the University of Athens, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, National Technical University of Athens, University of Crete, University of Ioannina, University of the Aegean, University of Patras, University of Thessaly, Athens Medical School, Agricultural University of Athens and Democritus University of Thrace are the best 11 universities in Greece and among the best 1,400 in the entire world with  Athens University of Economics and Business, Harokopio University and Technical University being in the list as well.
