Study in Greece and the State Scholarship Foundation (ΙΚΥ) are thrilled to have participated in the 33rd Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition which took place in Rotterdam from 26-29 September. This year’s event was the largest EAIE Conference and Exhibition in history, gathering more than 6700 participants from over 2600 institutions and over 100 different countries.
Held at Rotterdam Ahoy, a state-of-the-art convention center at the heart of the modern and vibrant city of Rotterdam, EAIE provided participants from allover the world the ideal platform to connect with fellow education professionals, gain new insights and ideas, learn new skills and build new partnerships.
SiG’s participation guaranteed the strong Greek presence at this unique global event. The Greek stand piqued the interest of more than 3,000 persons. SiG members introduced Greek universities to visitors from around the globe, increased awareness about the international study programs offered in Greece, and forged new connections and collaborations with peers from national agencies, international universities, internationalization experts and recruitment agents. This plethora of interactions and conversations gave us the chance to learn about new innovative policies of higher education internationalization, explore global trends, navigate the challenges and opportunities in establishing international collaborations, and embrace new ideas and cutting-edge tools that will enable us to develop a modern and impactful internationalization strategy by building a global network essential to our success.
According to the big percentage of our contacts at the fair, including higher education specialists and internationalization experts, Greece has the potential to become an important study abroad destination. It needs organization, cooperation and strategy.
Let’s do it en route pour Toulouse where next year’s EAIE will be taking place!
