The British Embassy Athens, in cooperation with the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) and the British Council Greece, is launching a short-term scholarship programme for study and research in the UK. Applications are now open.

Funded exclusively by the UK government, the programme is aimed at Greek postgraduate and doctoral students enrolled in Greek Universities who wish to benefit from structured learning and research placements, of a four-week duration each, at a British Higher Education Institution.

A select group of up to 44 beneficiaries, who have secured a placement at the UK University of their choice by the end of the application process, will have the opportunity to build prestigious academic networks, be inspired by new ideas and alternative ways of working and utilise the excellent resources the British world-class academic institutions have to offer.

Applicants must be available to go on their placement in the UK in either March or April 2022. All placements will need to have begun by Thursday, 31 March 2022.
