On Monday 24 March, the Ambassador of India to Greece, Mr. Rudrendra Tandon, visited the premises of Study in Greece at Harokopio University of Athens to meet with the leadership of the organization.

The President of SiG, Prof. Christos Michalakelis, and the Director-General of the organization, Dr. Theodoros Papaioannou presented the organization’s vision, mission and activities with regards to the internationalization of Greek higher education, placing emphasis on international strategic partnerships, and highlighting the activities aimed at connecting Indian universities and students to Greece. Ambassador Tandon stressed the importance of academic cooperation for the solidification and amplification of the two countries’ bilateral relations. The two sides shared their perspectives and commitment to work together in order to promote enhanced collaboration between India and Greece.

In the context of his visit, Mr. Tandon also met the Rector of Harokopio, Prof. Dedousis, who presented the university and its mission, expressing his eagerness to explore academic and research collaboration with Indian HEIs.
