Artificial Intelligence in Medicine – Transforming Healthcare through Technology (AIMTech)

We are delighted to announce the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine – AIMTech”, hosted by the University of Ioannina under the umbrella of the ARTEMIS European University Alliance.

Taking place online (20 Oct – 7 Nov 2025 and 17-21 Nov 2025) and on-site in Ioannina, Greece (10 – 14 Nov 2025), this postgraduate training experience bridges the gap between state-of-the-art AI research and daily clinical practice.

Who should apply?

Mainly undergraduate medical students, life-science graduates, engineers and computer-science enthusiasts keen to master AI-driven diagnostics, genomic analytics and ethical AI deployment in healthcare.

What to expect

4 weeks of synchronous and asynchronous e-learning

5-day intensive course with lectures and workshops and close mentorship from leading clinicians, data-scientists and law experts

3 ECTS credits fully recognised by home universities

Travel, accommodation and daily allowance fully funded under Erasmus+ BIP rules (KA131)

Beyond the academic sessions, participants will discover Ioannina’s rich Byzantine history, lakeside scenery and renowned gastronomy through curated cultural activities and informal networking events.
