Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce and Study in Greece

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce and Study in Greece by Chamber President Nikolaos Bakatselos, Chair of the Education, Innovation, Entrepreneurship Committee and Member of the Chamber’s Steering Committee Litsa Panagiotopoulou and Study in Greece President Professor Christos Michalakelis.

The Memorandum heralds the start of a multi-level collaboration between the two organizations, with the goal of advancing Study in Greece’s mission to internationalize and extrovert Greek higher education and to carry out cooperative initiatives in the domains of international relations, economics, and education. The mutual projects’ ultimate goals are to increase Greek universities’ global footprint, close the gap between the academic and corporate communities, foster investment in research, innovation, and education, and link academic institutions to the workforce.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, which took place on Wednesday 13 March, was also attended by Elias Spirtounias, General Manager of the Chamber, Katerina Tzagaroulaki, Senior Executive Officer of the Chamber, Theodoros Papaioannou General Manager of Study in Greece, George Chazithanasis Operations Manager of Study in Greece and Christos Rizos Director of Innovation and Development of Study in Greece.
