“Greece & Czechia – Unlocking Potential” Forum dedicates spotlight to higher education

SiG members Dr. Theodoros Papaioannou, CEO, and Mr. Georgios Chatzithanasis, COO, travelled to Prague to represent Study in Greece, and present the organisation’s mission and activities aimed at advancing the internationalization of Greek universities.

More specifically, Dr. Papaioannou took part in the session focusing on the internationalization of higher education in Czechia and Greece. Together with Dr. Bourantonis, Secretary General for Higher Education at the Greek Ministry of Education, and Dr. Sophia Papaioannou, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, International Relations and Outreach at NKUA, Dr. Papaioannou presented Greece’s national policies, strategy, activities and projects dedicated to the promotion of international education, and the progress of internationalization and global outreach of Greek higher education.

The session was included in the conference titled “Greece & Czechia – Unlocking Potential”, organised by the Embassy of Greece in Prague, an event designed to forge ties between the two countries through the promotion of enhanced collaboration in various sectors ranging from security and defence and cutting-edge technologies to education and tourism.

SiG is genuinely grateful to the Ambassador Dinos Konstantinou and the Greek Embassy’s members for the invitation and for putting together this innovative initiative.
