该排名证明了雅典国立和卡波迪斯特里大学的研究项目的高质量、全球影响力和认可度，并反映在全球研究排名“2022年AD科学指数世界顶尖大学排名”的结果中。该结果便是该大学在该排名所包括的216个国家的16091所大学中排名第82位。（见表1）

此外，2022年，该大学在欧洲大学中排名第19位，在希腊公立大学中排名第一。
