The XIX EURALEX International Congress will be held virtually on 7-9 September 2021. The Congress is organized by the SynMorPhoSe Lab of the Department of Greek Philology, Democritus University of Thrace. The EURALEX Congresses bring together professional lexicographers, publishers, researchers, software developers and others interested in dictionaries of all types.
The motto of this edition of the EURALEX International Congress is: Lexicography for Inclusion.
The programme includes plenary lectures, parallel sessions on various topics, software demonstrations, pre-congress tutorials and specialized workshops, a book and software virtual exhibition as well as virtual social events for participants and their guests.
The following types of presentations will be available at Euralex XIX:
- Keynote presentations of 45 minutes will be presented live. A live 15 minute discussion with authors will follow each keynote presentation.
- Oral Presentations of 15 minutes will be presented live by authors and the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
- E-poster presentations will be uploaded online. The poster session lasts one whole hour in which attendees will have the opportunity to choose and visit the e-Posters of their interest.
- Software demonstration videos will be prerecorded and uploaded online. The demo session lasts one hour and a half in which attendees will have the opportunity to choose and visit the demos of their interest and interact with demos’ authors.
