Harokopio University of Athens comprises three Schools :
Harokopio University of Athens welcomes and embraces students -wherever they might come from- and encourages them to pursue their academic goals and interests. Scientific exploration and technological development is a core aspect of Harokopio’s identity as an organization, and it is open to new collaborations with institutions with which we share common values and goals.
Researchers of the Harokopio University of Athens have established strong research collaboration with colleagues in US Institutions over the years. Active collaborations include research groups in the University of Texas at Austin, the University of California at Davis, Rutgers State University of New Jersey, and Harvard University. These collaborations focus on staff, post-doc, and Ph.D. student mobility hosted both at the Harokopio University of Athens and partnering US institutions.
The Fulbright program has supported many of these endeavors over the years, while there is a significant number of Fulbright alumni among our staff members.
Further nourishing the existing research collaboration with U.S. institutions, the University since 2017 undertook the initiative to promote student mobility and exchange programs. To this end, we established MoUs with the Rutgers State University of New Jersey and George Mason University.
