Another important initiative is carried out by the Ionian University and more specifically the Department of Digital Media and Communication based in Argostoli.
The “Global Network of Ionian Scientists – Ionian Hall of Science” aims to activate the significant potential of Ionian scientists around the world and to form interdisciplinary synergies in the direction of the development path of the islands of the Ionian Sea.
Many scientists from Australia to the USA, as well as researchers active in the Ionian Islands under the umbrella of the Ionian University, have become members of the Ionian Hall of Science.
The opening event of the relevant founding action will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 19:30, at the Spiritual Center of Kourkoumelata in Kefalonia.
