Professors of the School of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are among the leading scientists of 2021 in Computer Science and Electronics according to the ranking list published in 10/5/2021 by Guide2Research.

It is the annual publication of the ranking of the leading scientists in this specific scientific area. Ioannis Pitas, Prof. of the School of Informatics, AUTh, is leading (#1) in Greece and #501 worldwide.

Four members of the School of Informatics are present in the same ranking: Professors Ioannis Vlahavas and Constantine Kotropoulos and Associate Professors Grigorios Tsoumakas and Anastasios Tefas.

The scientists’ ranking is based on h-index from Google Scholar, which must be at least 40, in order for them to be included in the ranking and the number of publications and references.
