The Hellenic Mediterranean University is organizing its 11th International Week at the Department of Electronic Engineering from May 27 – 31, 2024. The purpose of the international weeks at HMU is to network with the participants and inform them about best practices in internationalization.
At HMU, we aim for international events on specific thematic areas in line with EU priorities on internationalization. The 11th International Week at HMU focuses on modern pedagogical methods and technologies in Higher Education. Activities will run from Monday, May 27 to Friday, May 31. The program of the 11th International Week includes lectures on teaching trends in higher education, a university exhibition, and the completion of two Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) at the undergraduate level.
230 academics and higher education institutions, as well as 125 students from 78 different universities in 37 countries, will attend the events of the International Week.
Additionally, two roundtable discussions will be held with participants from local government representatives, HMU vice-rectors, and distinguished Cretan scientists from abroad. Finally, seven public lectures will be held as part of the “Open Lectures in Electronics and More,” covering contemporary topics in electronics and other general-interest subjects.
