According to the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2022 organized by Times Higher Education magazine, ten Greek universities are included in the list of top 1000 universities internationally. More specifically, these universities are: Harokopio University of Athens, University of Crete, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Technical University of Athens, University of the Aegean, Athens University of Economics and Business, University of Ioannina, Technical University of Crete, University of Thessaly.
