East & Southeast Asia Postgraduate Virtual Fair 2021

On December 8, 2021, Study in Greece participated in the virtual fair entitled “East & Southeast Asia Postgraduate Virtual Fair”, organized by FPP EDU Media.
During the fairs, the members of Study in Greece extensively presented to hundreds of participants the multitude of postgraduate programs offered by Greek Public Universities for international students.
In addition, SiG also had the opportunity to investigate the interest rates of students from East and Southeast Asia for each discipline category.
The research had the following results:

Apparently, the Science/Engineering and Social Sciences disciplines gathered the most interest, with a percentage of 28% and 21% respectively. Then, follow the disciplines of Business/Economics (16%) and Humanities (13%), while with lower interest the disciplines of Computer Science (9%), Health (8%) and Tourism (5%).

In conclusion, SiG’s online booth attracted the interest of hundreds of students from East and Southeast Asian countries, which is another indication that Greece is now an important academic destination. One last thing worth mentioning is that, despite the fact that the exhibition was mainly related to postgraduate programs, SiG members received many questions about short-term programs such as winter/summer schools.
