Study in Greece in Chinese Annual Conference for International Education & Expo (CACIE)

Prof. Christos Michalakelis – Project Manager of Study in Greece-SiG, presented the prospects emerging from the internationalization strategy of the Greek public universities in the CACIE 2020 (Chinese Annual Conference for International Education & Expo). CACIE features international education, exchange and cooperation at a global scale, highlighting, between others, the importance of Sino-Greek synergies in the field of higher education, which offer unprecedented opportunities. In particular, the opening up of the Greek education in the new era passes through the development of a complete portal of information which operates as an educational bridge between Greece and the rest of the world!

During the opening ceremony, the Greek Minister of Education & Religious affairs, Mrs Niki Kerameus made a welcome speech.
Due to the pandemic COVID-19, this year’s theme is seeking discussions regarding the New Challenges and Opportunities for International Education Cooperation and Exchange in the Context of Public Health Emergence.
Since 2000, CACIE has been acclaimed as the leading event for overseas institutions to expand their presence. CACIE consists of 3 parts China International Forum on Education, Education B2B and China Education Expo. CEAIE, the Organizer consists of 872 institution members. CEAIE has over 1000 partner institutions at home and over 170 educational organizations in more than 50 countries and regions.
CEAIE develops educational programs for exchange and educational collaborations between different countries and regions promoting the advancement of education, culture, science and technology and strengthens understanding and friendship among people of all countries and regions around the world.
