SiG to support UK – Greece Strategic Partnership in Education

On June 30 2021, Study in Greece took part in the important conference organized within the framework of UK – Greece Strategic Partnership in Education program – fruit of collaboration between the British Council Greece, the British Embassy in Athens, the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and Study in Greece.

During his speech, Prof. Michalakelis –member of the program’s advisory board– and Project Manager of SiG presented the project’s diverse actions to boost internationalization of Greek universities, ranging from the promotion of Greek universities’ Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, and the design and implementation of short-term courses to the creation of electronic platforms which facilitate the communication and networking between Greek and foreign universities, researchers and students.

SiG’s founder also highlighted the importance of partnerships between Greek and British universities, adding that SiG welcomes and supports any initiative (academic and exchange programs and/or research collaborations) related to this orientation.

It’s worth mentioning that UK – Greece Strategic Partnership in Education program was launched on the 5th of March 2021 with the aim to foster collaboration between UK and Greek universities.
