On September 23rd Study in Greece participated in the Study and Go Abroad Virtual Education Fair organized by Recruit in Canada. SiG members had the opportunity to present the wide range of study options offered by Greek Universities to students from North America and other world regions.
The Canadian Education Fair is an event of utmost importance given the strong Greek presence in the country as well as because of the Canadian students’ growing interest in European study destinations. Taking all these factors into consideration, SiG promoted Greek Universities and their programs, placing a particular focus on their English-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. During the 7 hours of the fair, hundreds of students and HE agents visited SiG’s virtual booth and accessed the chats to get informed about the study options and perspectives Greek Higher Education provides.
The public’s interest in Greece as well as higher education’s professionals willingness to discover the contemporary Greek academic landscape reveal the importance of the internationalization of Greek Higher Education. SiG is at the forefront of this effort.
