General Information
- The short programme in Digital Humanities will run at the University of Crete from the academic year 2023-2024
- It is organized by the Department of Philology in the framework of the project “TALOS-Artificial Intelligence for Humanities and Social Sciences” (TALOS-AI4SSH)
- It aims at training BA students in the constantly developing field of DH, as well as at raising their awareness on the ethics of technology.
The short programme is addressed
- To all enrolled undergraduate students of the University of Crete at their 3rd semester and above, regardless of School/Faculty and Department, as well as to all domestic/national and foreign Erasmus students.
- Courses of the short programme are held in physical presence, hybridly (physical presence with simultaneous online presentation) and/or at a distance.

The programme offers a wide range of courses in a variety of interdisciplinary fields such as:
Digital Classics, Digital Literature Studies, Digital Archaeology, Computational Linguistics, Education technology and Ethics of Technology*
