From the analysis of sewage to the mapping of coronavirus cases. This phrase could describe the innovative idea of the team Sewers4COVID which took the 1st place in the European contest #EuvsVirusHackathon. It is about an electronic platform which through the use of AI helps the monitoring of the course of coronavirus in sewage and therefore the detection of its cases. The programme has been developed in a trial version. Apart from the Technical University of Athens the team consisted of the University of Thessaly, the Dutch institute KWR, the Spanish institute Eurecat and the University of Exeter.
