Prom Racing Team of NTUA in the Top 15 Formula Student Teams in the world

Prom Racing Formula Student Team of the National Technical University of Athens writes history by conquering the 15th place in the World Ranking of all electric Formula Student Teams, due to its -unprecedented for the Greek standards- performance in the four competitions it took part last summer.

Prom Racing was founded in 2008 and since then it has built 5 racing cars. The last of them, P20, was the first electric race car that has led the team to a range of distinctions in the most demanding Formula Student competitions globally.

More specifically, Prom Racing placed 1st Overall during the Formula Student Czech Republic Competition, which took place in Autodrom Most. The peak moment of this year’s team performance was the distinction in the most challenging Formula Student competition in the world, Formula Student Germany, where the Greek team got the 5th position Overall, empowering its place between top teams from the most recognized technical universities of the world.

Here are the greatest distinctions of Prom Racing during the year 2020-2021:
1st Place in Overall Ranking in Formula Student Czech
1st Place in all Dynamic Events (except Efficiency) in Formula Student Czech
5th Place in Overall Ranking in the most challenging competition, Formula Student
2nd Place in Endurance & 5th Place in Autocross in Formula Student
