The Laboratory of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture of the Agricultural University of Athens and the COMMONSPACE coop jointly coordinate and organise with the International Federation of Landscape Architects Europe (IFLA Europe), the Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects (PHALA) and IFLA Europe Med_net Working Group, a series of events entitled “Open Week in Landscape Architecture” on the 24-31 May 2024, at the Agricultural University of Athens.

The aim of the series of events is to present the new trends in Landscape Architecture in relation to the climate, the essential integration of nature in the city, the democratic governance of space, and the participation of citizens. Distinguished scientists from Europe and the Mediterranean will present their experiences, projects and innovative solutions as advocated by the New European Bauhaus, which integrate aesthetics, sustainability and inclusivity in the decision-making process to improve green living spaces.
