It is indisputably another step forward for our organization. We extend our gratitude to the Minister for her decision. Also, we would like to make our deep-felt appreciation known to
Giola Dionisopoulou
, Director of the Directorate- General for Tourism Policy, Ministry of Tourism, for her longtime support.

The 1st “One Belt One Road Sino – Hellenic College Summit” was held from the 1st to the 5th of April 2019, at the
AUEB (Athens University of Economics and Business). Throughout the summit a number of interesting events happened. On the first day our visitors from China were able to attend inspiring speeches from distinguished personalities from the education field. The second day included a very illuminating visit to the ‘Impact Hub Athens’ about start-ups and an engaging recreational activity at the historical center of Athens! The third day was dedicated to culture with an enriching lecture by Nikos Chalarakis, a trip to the Piraeus Port Authority S.A/COSCO, a relaxing visit to the Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum and the vicinity of Athens. On the last day all teams presented their projects to the committee. The closing event took place in a traditional tavern and everyone had an exceptional amount of fun. We would like to thank all of the participants from China and especially AUEB for hosting the summit and
R & J Culture Life International for jointly organizing it! We hope to see you again!

Study in Greece in Toronto

Image

Study in Greece, represented by Assistant Professor Dr Christos Michalakelis, was invited to participate to the 3rd Symposium of the
Hellenic Canadian Academic Association of Ontario making a presentation of the Study in Greece initiative as “Bridging Academic Connections in Greece”. The members of HCAAO as much as Greeks that live in Canada expressed a high interest regarding the perspective to implement summer and winter schools, as well as study abroad programs.  The visit was an initiative of the General Consul of Greece in Toronto, Mr Victor Maligoudis, who arranged a number of meetings and phone conferences with Universities of Ontario, namely Waterloo University, Queen’s, York, Ryerson and Brock. The meetings intended to raise the interest of the universities to choose Greece as a destination for their study abroad programs.

Study in Greece team expresses its gratitude to Mr Maligoudis, without whose support this visit would not be realized and the board of HCAAO for their kind invitation and their interest in the initiative, promising to work hard towards this direction and expand its network with the participation of more international universities
