The Department of Economics, Democritus University of Thrace, supported by the network of thematic experts Vip4Ride, is organizing the 2nd International Conference – Intermodal Transports: Innovations in Planning, Management, Business Development & Decision Making. It will be held in Astir Egnatia Resort, Alexandroupoli — one of the cities where the Democritus University of Thrace is based, on October 12-15.
The main objectives of this conference addresses the innovation in strategic planning, business development and economic contribution specifically related to intermodal transport. The focus is on the main economic advantages of developing intermodal transport, energy and tourism sectors. Special attention is given to decision making for investments and project financing in large infrastructures to promote intermodal option.
