University of Economics and Business (AUEB) proceeded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with University of Quebec, in Montreal (UQAM). Τhe UQAM is one of the leading public universities in Canada, which for 60 years has been distinguished for the quality of its programmes, the originality of its research and its orientation towards innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Memorandum of Understanding is encouraging the successful partnership between the two institutions at both undergraduate and postgraduate programs and more specifically:
- participation in research programs
- exchange of research and teaching personnel
- student exchange
- joint publications
- design ofnew curriculum for student research and practice
- organizing summer schools
- organizing scientific meetings around areas of mutual interest
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Athens University of Economics and Business by the Rector, Prof. Dimitris Bourantonis, on Wednesday, September 6, 2021.
The Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Development of AUEB, Prof. Vasilis Papadakis stated concerning the future of this collaboration: “The establishment of this collaboration between the AUEB and the University of Quebec aims to develop innovative programmes through joint research and academic activities, while at the same time it contributes to the orientation of our University towards internationalisation and the implementation of our strategic plan”.
