In the top 140 scientists of AUTh

As the leading scientists in the world for the impact of their work published during 2020, 140 members of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) were included in the updated ranking “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” – 2021, compiled annually by a team of professors of Stanford University USA.

The corresponding list of top scientists based on the impact of their published work throughout their careers includes 122 members of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – active and retired faculty members and postdoctoral fellow.

The ranking “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” includes the top 100,000 scientists worldwide from all scientific fields, as well as 2% of the top scientists in their scientific field, who have published at least five articles. The evaluation was based on the impact of their research work and specifically on the reports it has received, according to the Scopus database.
