On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Education, on January 24, 2022, the General Secretariat for Higher Education of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Study in Greece join forces to organize the webinar: “Study in Greece Virtual Fair: Expanding Bridges between Greek and US Universities”.
In the framework of this unique οn-line event renowned speakers from Greece and the US will place a strong focus on the academic collaborations, synergies and partnerships between the two countries. Furthermore Study in Greece will present the “Study in Greece Virtual Fair” – a virtual environment providing the opportunity to all Greek universities to showcase their various programs to attract students from around the globe. It is worth mentioning that the fair will stay open to the public all year round.
Welcome messages will be addressed, among others, by Ms. Niki Kerameos, Minister of Education & Religious Affairs, Mr. Christos Dimas, Deputy Minister for Research and Technology, Mr. Ioannis Chrysoulakis, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, and Mr. Apostolos Dimitropoulos, Secretary General for Higher Education. Representatives from the two countries’ Embassies, educational institutions and universities as well as members of the Greek Academics Network in the US will also participate in the event.
