The Athens University of Economics and Business hosted a delegation of six representatives from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), a renowned Chinese university with which it has a longstanding relationship, on June 7, 2024.

In particular, apart from a formal Memorandum of Understanding, UIBE is AUEB’s partner in establishing AUEB’s Business Confucius Institute in Greece.

The group was greeted in the Senate Hall by Associate Professor of Management at the Department of Business Administration Alexandros Papalexandris, Rector Prof. Dimitrios Bourantonis, and Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Growth Prof. Vasilis Papadakis on behalf of the AUEB.

The visit by the UIBE was intended to fortify the two institutions’ relationship and look into new avenues for collaboration. The two sides met in a very warm atmosphere. The meeting concluded with both sides committing to further strengthen their partnership through the creation of two working groups that will examine further modalities of partnership.
