Mediterranean College is the first private Anglophone College in Greece (1977) and has been operating since then according to standards of countries with a tradition in higher education, such as the United Kingdom. It is recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education and accredited by the BAC (British Accreditation Council) as an institution providing higher education. Its degrees are professionally equivalent to the ones awarded by State Universities and are also recognized by the UK NARIC (which is similar to DOATAP). Finally, the College is reviewed by the QAA (Quality Assurance Agency), the body that monitors the quality standards of UK Universities.
Currently, Mediterranean College runs facilities in Athens and Thessaloniki in a contemporary learning environment, with 8 Academic Schools and Departments of Students’ support (English Department, Student Affairs Office, Career Office, International Office, Counselling Centre, Academic Support Center, Alumni Office). Its programmes are delivered in the Greek and English language and the offered disciplines are carefully selected to secure maximum career prospects. The College has established a comprehensive Employability Scheme to maximise its students’ employability potential, which is based on professional career services, internships and a wide network of corporate partners.
